Blaze Guts Albertville Home
Fire heavily damaged a home in Albertville overnight. The Wright County Sheriff's Department reports that Albertville fire fighters were called to the scene of the blaze at 10584 50th Court North East just before midnight last night. Though officials will conduct an investigation into the cause, it is believed the fire started as a result of an electrical problem. Residents reported that they saw lights flicker before flames appeared in the attic of the home. Fire was soon seen coming through the roof of the home. The fire later re-kindled and firefighters were called back to the residence owned by Melissa McDougald around 4 AM after a neighbor reported flames coming through the sidewall of the home. The neighbor was apparently unaware of the earlier fire. No injuries were reported in the blaze.
