Welcome to our great city. We are located west of Minneapolis on U.S. Highway 12, nestled in a great country setting, with several lakes close to city hall. Our setting is country, but several metropolitan centers are close. St. Cloud is 36 miles northwest, Buffalo is 18 miles northeast, Hutchinson is 15 miles southwest, and the twin cities are only 30 miles east.
We are only a short drive to anywhere, but yet we give you country living and one of the best fishing lakes (Howard Lake covers 660 acres) in Wright County.
Our city's population reached over 1,800 in the year 2000; we have over 100 new home development lots available right now. If you are looking for existing homes, check us out. We have housing available in all price ranges. Our current industrial park just filled up. With more demand, we recently opened another park.
We are a city that is growing in population, business and industry. But we still maintain the warmth and friendliness of a small town.
